Yo! Sushi launched its first restaurant in Poland Street, Soho, London in 1997. Since then 8 further restaurants have been opened in the South East with further launches in Manchester, Australia and the USA planned for 2001. Visitors to Yo! Sushi sit on stools or at tables in a high tech, yet friendly environment surrounding a stainless steel conveyor belt. Plates of Sushi are transported around the restaurant on the conveyor belt allowing customers to select dishes at will. Drinks are delivered by robot trolleys who travel around the restaurant talking to any customers who get in their way! As well as delicate Sushi, Yo! Sushi restaurants offer over 150 different varieties of Japanese food, all prepared fresh on the premises. Many of the dishes on the belt are hot, cooked, chicken or pork. There is also a wide selection of sizzling Tempura, Noodles, Soups and Yakitori. Drinks available include hot and cold sake, Japanese beer, wine, sodas and unlimited fizzy or still water for just £1.
