Dingy sailing

'Have a Go day'
Feel the wind in your hair and the spray in your face with this ideal opportunity to try out dingy sailing. Details of the experience vary according to location but typically involve one instructor and three participants and last from 9am to 4pm. There are no restrictions (provided you are over 8 years old), in short if you can get in it you can sail it!

2 day RYA qualification level 1
Long enough to give the basic principals of sailing, this course covers rigging, tacking, gibing, sailing upwind & downwind, points of sailing and man overboard recovery. Residential courses are available on the south coast.

Yachting
Enjoy an informal cruising weekend or short break practicing boat handling, piloting and sailing around the beautiful waters of The Solent or the Firth of Clyde. You will live on board, meeting up at 7pm on Friday and returning to port by 7pm on Sunday. Costs include full board.
