The Galleries is a covered shopping centre at the heart of Washington New Town. This vibrant lively shopping centre has over 200 shops and services including major retail multiples.

The Galleries is set in over 60 acres of land, which contains a multi-route bus station, Taxi ranks and over 3,000 FREE PARKING SPACES including designated disabled and parent and toddler parking spaces.  The Galleries is particularly easy to visit by car, being situated between the two main North/South roads in the region close to the western bypass.

The gift cheque sales point in The Galleries is one of the famous barrows on the ground floor of the main Mall.  Flex-e-vouchers and Les Pickering, Centre Manager (pictured right) worked tirelessly to ensure a successful scheme launch in Autumn 2003.
